Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 2’ has managed to impress the audience and has been performing well at the box office. The film collected Rs 3.50 crore on day eight with total collections of Rs 76 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

However, according to the producers, ‘JollyLLB2’ collected Rs 4.14 crore on its second Friday taking the total to Rs 81.85 crore.

The film is a satire on the Indian legal system and has Huma Qureshi as the leading lady opposite Khiladi Kumar. The film has entertaining songs and rides high on interesting dialogues. Annu Kapoor as the rival lawyer and Saurabh Shukla as the judge are also being applauded for their performances in the film. Veteran comedian tweeted, “#JollyLLB2 Great film, really enjoyed it! Strong performances from @akshaykumar @saurabhshukla_s @annukapoor_ @humasqureshi Congratulations!” Film maker Karan Johar while congratulating ‘Jolly LLB 2’ team tweeted, “Huge congratulations to @akshaykumar and the team of #JollyLLB2 for the stupendous response!! Going to see it tomorrow! Can’t wait!”

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is the sequel of the popular 2013 film ‘Jolly LLB’ which had Arshad Warsi in the title role.

Akshay Kumar is set to come up with four films this year, but the actor says doing so many projects does not make him a superhero. The 49-year-old said his only aim is to be a good hero and work as much as possible. “I am trying to be a hero and not a superhero. There are lot of superheroes in the industry but I am just trying to be a hero. I am only trying to work.” Akshay said.
